Every new user receives $100 in play money. Browse markets, build a betslip, and place simulated trades just like you would on a real exchange. Your paper positions track against live market prices in real time, and when markets settle on the Kalshi exchange, your paper trades settle automatically with the same outcomes.

Our Algorithm

The AlgoPicks algorithm is the engine that powers everything on the platform. It's not a simple price tracker or a basic sentiment gauge — it's a multi-layered analysis system that synthesizes real-time market data, external intelligence, and proprietary modeling to reach its own view of every market, and to show you where that view differs from the price.

Prediction markets are fast-moving and information-dense, and reading one properly takes hours nobody has. Our algorithm reads them for you. It continuously processes hundreds of active markets, cross-references live data from dozens of external sources, and states its own estimate beside the price — every one backed by evidence and reasoning you can read yourself.

Multi-Source Intelligence

The algorithm doesn't rely on a single data stream. For every market it evaluates, it pulls from a wide range of sources: live exchange pricing and volume data, curated news articles scored for relevance and source credibility, real-time API data from financial markets, sports databases, weather services, economic indicators, and more. Each source is weighted by its track record of reliability for that specific market category.

Fair Value & Disagreement

At the core of every pick is a fair value estimate — the algorithm's own assessment of the probability of an outcome, formed independently of where the market is currently trading. When it diverges meaningfully from the market price, we flag the disagreement and show you both numbers.

We used to say the bigger the gap, the stronger the signal. Our own settled record says the opposite, so we do not say it any more. Across 5,583 settled markets, calls where our value sat 40¢ or more from the price came in 28% of the time — against 81% for simply backing whichever side the market already favoured. Our biggest disagreements have been our least accurate calls. Read the gap as where to look, never as what to take.

Signal Strength Scoring & Calibration

Every pick carries a signal strength score from 0 to 100, which blends the size of the disagreement with the market price with the algorithm's conviction in its recommendation. It ranks picks against each other — it is not a probability. The probability lives in the market price and in the fair value estimate beside it. Our system continuously measures its own accuracy against real outcomes, and that self-calibrating feedback loop feeds back into the scores you see, so they stay grounded in actual performance rather than arbitrary numbers.

Category-Specialized Analysis

A politics market and a sports market require fundamentally different analytical approaches. Our algorithm understands this. It runs category-level analysis that evaluates the overall landscape — sentiment, key developments, and cross-market dynamics — before drilling into individual market picks. This top-down approach means every recommendation is informed by the broader context of its domain.

Deep Event Analysis

For events that warrant the deepest level of scrutiny, the algorithm activates a multi-step analysis pipeline. It scores and ranks dozens of news articles and data sources for relevance, then synthesizes them with live tool data — real-time odds, financial filings, weather forecasts, polling data, and more — to produce comprehensive event reports with market-by-market predictions, supporting evidence chains, and fair value estimates. These reports are available on every event detail page and can be shared with other users.

AlgoPicks Indexes

The algorithm doesn't just pick individual markets — it curates entire portfolios. AlgoPicks Indexes are thematic collections of our highest-conviction picks, each managed by the algorithm:

Each index tracks its own settled record and P&L over time, and each rate is published beside what backing the market favourite would have done on the same markets. We do not call it auditable: an outsider cannot replay it from what we store today. Making it replayable — naming the exact forecast each settlement was scored against — is work in progress, and we will say when it lands.

Always Running, Always Learning

The algorithm operates continuously. Market data syncs in real time via live WebSocket connections. Category analyses refresh throughout the day. Source credibility scores update as outcomes resolve. Calibration tightens with every settled market. The system is designed to get sharper over time — not just react to the present, but learn from every prediction it makes.

Research Agent

The AlgoPicks Research Agent is an AI-powered research assistant built directly into the platform. It gives you conversational access to 40+ real-time data tools spanning every major domain relevant to prediction markets.

Ask it anything — “Will the Fed cut rates this year?”, “Who will win the NBA Finals?”, “What's the outlook for NVDA?” — and the Research Agent will pull live data from financial markets, sports databases, weather services, economic indicators, political polling, and more to build a well-sourced answer.

We maintain a real-time data pipeline with Kalshi's exchange, syncing market data, event metadata, pricing, and settlement information continuously. This ensures that every market you see on AlgoPicks reflects the latest state of the exchange, with live price streaming via WebSocket connections.

Automated Trading

Users can connect their Kalshi accounts directly to AlgoPicks to enable programmatic trading. Once connected, you can execute trades through our platform — either manually or through our automated trading features that act on algorithmic signals. Your Kalshi API credentials are stored securely and encrypted at rest.
